Prothom Alo is looking for a dynamic person for the following position:
Post Name: Research Manager
Main purpose of job:
To develop market intelligence and bring consumer insight into Prothom Alo’s commercial and business planning, product development and marketing activities across all its media platforms.
Brief of duties and responsibilities:
1. You will represent the voice of the customer and market place
within the company, using primary and
secondary research techniques to draw insights, which will
inform product development, strategic
planning and marketing.
2. You will closely follow competitors, identify and monitor
industry trends for all media (Print, Electronic,
Digital and Mobile), and track media spending and budgets to
help generate detailed market spend
forecasts.
3. You will help shape the direction of research in this area,
initiating and leading new research projects,
coordinating and working with third-party research agencies.
Education Requirement:
Masters in any discipline with good result from any reputed university.
Experience:
1. Minimum 05 years experience in similar track.
2. Excellent planning, report writing and analysis skills and the
ability to present complex concepts simply.
3. Must be hard working, disciplined, self-starter, energetic and
good team player.
